Hey there all we had a fun morning on Saturday gone where I delivered a 3 part session on Mormonism and witnessing to Mormons. I was able to spend longer on the subject than I usually do which was a lot of fun. I know this won’t be for everyone but I just wanted to make these talks available on here.
Speaking at Christian Churches and events is now a major part of our ministry, we would love to go around the country (and even the world of possible) delivering sessions like this, if you are a church or event leader, or you know someone who is who might be interested, please get in touch, and myself or one of our volunteers would love to come over.
Please leave any comments or questions below, thanks a lot.
Session 1 – Overview of Mormonism
Session 2 – Looking At Key Areas Of Mormon Belief
Session 3 – Having Dialogue With Mormons
For all of these, just left click to listen, or right click and then click “save link as” to download.
Hi Bobby, I listened to all three segments. Well done.
Thanks Michael appreciated!
As I listen to the first session I see that you misrepresent my faith and your faith also. You kept saying what you think the Bible says instead of what God led you about the Bible’s truth.
Mormons do not believe any of the things that you said we do within the context that you provided. You sound that you are earnest and sincere, but you are mistaken.
Also, by grace all are saved, but by the fruit of the change that comes upon us after we accept HIM are we called HIS followers. Our works will copy his works. So, of course by our works are we judged. We will be judge if we have truly accepted Christ.
You really misrepresented LDS beliefs.
Hi there Rodric, I really appreciate you taking the time to listen to some of these talks.
I believe that in reading the Bible we learn what is true, we see this in response to the teachings of Paul in Acts 17:11. We also see in 2 Timothy 3:16 that the scriptures are useful for reproof, correction and training in righteousness. In 1 Corinthians 4:6 Paul instructs us not to go beyond what is written.
What you are picking up on here is a different between how we think, Mormons tend to be very feelings orientated, evangelical Christians try to be as faithful as they can to the written word.
You said Mormons do not believe ANYTHING that I said. That is a bold statement that I think you need to back up.
Mormons may believe we are saved by grace in the sense that we are all raised in the next life, but what about exaltation? What about being with God eternally? I have masses of statements from your leaders showing this is far from by grace alone.
“Immortality has been accomplished by the Savior’s sacrifice. Eternal life hangs in the balance awaiting the works of men” (The Miracle of Forgiveness, 208).
This is a starting place. You again say I have misrepresented Mormon beliefs, please tell me where I have done this and I will happily make amendments. Please bear in mind that there can often be a difference between what some Mormons believe, and what Mormon leaders have taught, I try and stick with the latter as that is more authoritative.
I am still listening though right now. I love praise to the man also.
Would you say that you believe in the Bible without believing in Moses?
Without believing in Joseph Smith as a prophet you cannot become a God. You can get to heaven without joining church. If you want to become like God you must join the church.
Pure and delightful was in the manuscript,
THe leaders were wrong about race if it was talking about skin color. They were wrong on all accounts. The racism is not in the Book of Mormon.
Christ is the very eternal father. He is the father of all who follow him in salvation in truth and light.
I don’r have an answer about the similarities in the Bible and the Book of Mormon.
THere are not a lot of people leaving. Where is you stats.
God decided that Jesus would be the Savior. There was no vote as you insinuate in the talk.
There is no doctrine that supports fence sitters in heaven.
Hey Rodric, Moses is in the Bible and is an accepted part of Christianity and Judaism, I dont see this as a reasonable comparison with Joseph Smith.
So you are saying I got that point right about having to believe in Joseph Smith? That’s a relief.
Pure and delightsome was in which manuscript? The original book of Mormon as “translated” by Joseph Smith said White and delightsome, have you researched this?
The Book of Mormon is full of racism even today.
Alma 3:6 “And the skins of the Lamanites were dark, according to the mark which was set upon their fathers, which was a curse upon them because of their transgression and their rebellion against their brethren…”
3 Nephi 2:15 “And their curse was taken from them, and their skin becamewhite like unto the Nephites;”
3 Nephi 19:30 “And when Jesus had spoken these words he came again unto his disciples; and behold they did pray steadfastly, without ceasing, unto him; and he did smile upon them again; and behold they werewhite, even as Jesus.”
And there are plenty more.
Regarding people leaving.

There was a council in heaven and Jesus was chosen to take the role, I did not say there was a vote.
There is nothing in the LDS scriptures regarding fence sitters but it has been believed by Mormons for years, I am here to respond to Mormonism and what Mormons have actually believed, not how they try and cover up false beliefs they once held. Its possible you are of an age where you were not active LDS pre 1978, so therefore you will not have seen this.
Great having you commenting Rodric, hope to talk more soon.
