Church members didn’t get debated into joining the church, they joined because they felt it was true. The sad thing is that cunning arguments are being used to entice people away from the assurances of the church and the members who forget the foundation of their testimony are falling prey to this cruel sophistry – hence the overarching core of much of conference – your testimony is your protection.
