Utah Partnerships for Christ update by Russ East
Leonard Ravenhill was born in 1907 in the city of Leeds, in Yorkshire England. He served the Lord as an evangelist. He went to be with the Lord in 1994. In his book, “Why Revival Tarries” he stated,
“One praying man stands as a majority with God! Today God is bypassing men-not because they are too ignorant, but because they are too self-sufficient. Brethren, our abilities are our handicaps, and our talents our stumbling blocks!”
This quote reminds me that we should make it a common occurance to ask God to use us in spite of who we are and in spite of our limitations in a way that He would want. Then we must surrender our talents and skillls and dreams and remember He will guide us as it says in Psalm 16:11-
“Thou will show me the path of life, in thy presence is fullness of joy, and thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.”
As a born again Christian my reason for living is to be a clear window where people only see Christ through me. I am to give God glory for He is worthy!
Now with that as my preface…I want to make known to you whoever may be reading this that if you have partnered with us in the past, know we are grateful and thankful. If you have never partnered with us to any degree, I invite you to do so.
As we move into 2014 I want to encourage you to keep Utah in your prayers and the work of equipping Believers in how to engage Mormons with the Gospel in a way that is both loving and compassionate, bold, and gentle. Kind and clear.

A vision God keeps confirming his blessing is the Great Commission among the people in Utah and most recently the people in England. In November this past year the Lord allowed me to travel to England to see how Bobby and Vicky Gilpin have started a “sister” ministry with UPFC called UK Partnerships for Christ. After visits here in Utah, Bobby continues to show his faithfulness to a calling in his life to reach Mormons in the UK. Would you be a partner that provides the fuel to carry out this ministry. 2. Funding for Michael and Lynn Wilder for travel to the UK to share their story how this Brigham Young University professor put her faith in Christ alone and left the LDS church.
3. Funding for the proper insurance policy needed to be a good steward of the operations of the ministry in the UK.
